Turmeric and honey mask

Make a mask by mixing six teaspoon of honey with one teaspoon of turmeric powder.

Apply this mask on the face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Repeat once in every two days for best results.

Benefits: -This is very effective and simple solution to remove acne. Honey is a natural moisturizer for the skinand turmeric helps in controlling the oily substance which is secreted by the sebaceous glands of the skin. This mask prevents scarring.

Toothpaste

Toothpastes containing calcium carbonate can be used to prevent acne-bacteria invading in the skin. On the acne areas apply toothpaste directly and leave it for at least half an hour and then rinse it. Toothpastes having whitening or gel properties should not be used as these commodities have various chemicals that may cause damage to sensitive skin.

Benefit: – To immediately dry out acne toothpaste can be used as a quick acne treatment. It absorbs excess oil. This is a very useful acne treatment for whiteheads or blackheads.

Lemon Juice

Dip a Q-tip in lemon juice. Properly apply onto the acne area. Wait for minimum 30 minutes and when the lemon juice is totally dried then wash it with lukewarm water. Immediately rinse it off with chilled water if it causes itching or discomfort.

Cinnamon Powder mask

Make a mask with 3 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Mix it well. Apply it to the affected area and leave it to get dry. Wash it with lukewarm water. A blend of honey and cinnamon is highly effective for healing wounds and treating skin itching problems. People having sensitive skin are not suggested this mask.

Garlic

Rub the slice of garlic clove or apply its juice directly onto the acne. Leave it for five to ten minutes then rinse it with lukewarm water.

Benefits: -Garlic contains sulfur which restrains infections and reduces inflammation. It has an antiseptic property which provides anti-aging and skin lightening benefits.

Green tea rinse

If you have blemishes on your skin, you can try a green tea facial. Boil a pot of green tea and dab the tea bag on the affected area. You can also use cotton to apply this tea externally. Let it dry on its own and wash it off with cold water.

You can also add a little green tea to your gel or lotion. That way you will get a green tea-enriched beauty product to apply.
